The Information We Collect

Sensitive Information

At the time you make a purchase request, agree to participate in a promotion, download content, or request to be put on a mailing list, we may collect and store your name, address, credit card numbers and other personally-identifiable information. We need this information to provide goods and services that you request and to let you know of additional goods and services about which you might be interested.

Non-Sensitive Information

In order for us to serve you better your personal information may be used for the following purposes, including but not limited to:

  1. Bigfoot Networks Online Store
    To process orders we will request personal information such as: name, email address, physical address, and credit card information. 
  2. Online Product Registration
    You can register your Bigfoot Networks products using our online registration form to be eligible to receive product support. Personal information collected during product registration will be used to improve our products in the future.  Internal reports will not contain personal information.  With your permission, we will send you information about new products and promotions by Bigfoot Networks via email.
  3. Surveys/ Polls/ Contests/ Promotions
    Participitation in these activities is strictly voluntary and is your choice whether or not to disclose any personal information.  Information requested by us may include: name, email address, and demographic information; such as age, for eligibility purposes.  Survey information will be used for the purposes of improving the use and satisfaction of our website and products.
  4. Mailing List
    Bigfoot Networks may occasionally send you marketing materials and/or product information via email. Your email address will only be used for this purpose and will not be shared with any third parties, absent a court order.  We will follow all local regulations of emails, such as allowing you to unsubscribe from our list if requested.  You retain the right to opt out from receiving electronic communications from us at any time.
  5. Information from Children
    Bigfoot Networks will never knowingly collect sensitive information from children under 14 years of age for marketing purposes.  If it is discovered that personal information has been submitted to us by a child under the age of 14 years of age, we will delete the record from our files.  

Security

We employ reasonable and current security methods to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure correct use of information.

Whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online – for example on message boards, through e-mail or in chat areas – that information can be collected and used by others.

No data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. As a result, while we try to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.

How You Can Opt Out From Receiving Electronic Communications

You may send an email to unsubscribe@bigfootnetworks.com or visit the unsubscribe link provided at the bottom of all electronic communications.  Please allow 48 hours for your information to be updated in our database.  During this 48 hour period you may still receive electronic communications from Bigfoot Networks.  However, you do not need to request to be opted out again.  Your original request will be processed.

How You Can Update, Correct or Delete Your Information

You can access the information that we collect online and maintain through normal updating methods. To update, correct or delete this information, you can email support@bigfootnetworks.com

Third Party Practices

The Privacy Policy of an advertiser or promotional service appearing at our site may differ from ours. We encourage you to read that policy before responding to the offer.
